Since 1963, Trinity High School has stood as a cornerstone of Cumberland County—an institution dedicated to academic excellence, vibrant student life, athletic achievement, and unwavering faith. Now, as we approach the final phase of our multi-year Capital Campaign, we celebrate a remarkable transformation that secures our future while honoring our legacy.
A Vision Set in Motion
Reinvigorated in 2019, Trinity’s Capital Campaign set out to raise $9 million to modernize our campus and meet the evolving needs of 21st-century education. With the support of our dedicated community, we have turned this vision into reality—completing critical renovations and building new facilities that will serve generations of students.
As we enter the summer of 2025, the final project—the last section of our building’s exterior façade—is under construction, marking the culmination of this ambitious effort.
Building a Better Trinity
Here’s what we’ve accomplished together:
1:1 Technology
Just before the pandemic, Trinity implemented a 1:1 technology program, providing every student and faculty member with a Chromebook. This investment enabled seamless remote learning during the pandemic and laid the foundation for a more flexible, creative, and personalized educational experience.
Exterior Façade & HVAC
In order to bring air conditioning to our campus, Trinity embarked on a multi-year project to replace the entire exterior facade of the building. This summer, the final piece of old exterior is being replaced. The new energy-efficient facade allowed for the installation of air conditioning in the hottest section of the building, the second floor. This upgrade has enhanced the building’s energy efficiency and created a more comfortable, modern learning environment.
Auditorium Renovation
Thanks to a generous $3 million gift, our auditorium has been fully renovated, transforming it into a stunning venue for Mass, graduations, performances, and assemblies. From new lighting and sound systems to comfortable seating and an upgraded stage, this space now reflects the heart of our communal and artistic life. Trinity’s Class of 2023 was the first to graduate in this revitalized setting, and our entire school body has enjoyed this space for the last two years.
Athletic Enhancements
Athletics at Trinity have received a significant boost, including:
- Turf installation at COBO Field, which has increased practice space and allowed us to host competitive post-season matches on our home field.
- A refreshed gymnasium, featuring resurfaced floors, new bleachers, and a fresh coat of paint.
- Two new auxiliary gyms, dedicated to our wrestling and volleyball programs.
- An expanded and resurfaced tennis facility, completed in summer 2023.
Band Program Expansion
Recognizing the importance of our music program, we’ve constructed a new addition to house our growing band ensemble. This space supports the musical talents of our students, enabling them to continue growing in the performing arts.
A Community Effort
The success of this campaign proves the strong generosity of the Trinity community—alumni, parents, faculty, and friends who support our mission and invest in our future.
Thanks to your support, we’ve enhanced every aspect of our school: from classrooms and common spaces to the fields and facilities where students compete and perform. These improvements don’t just make our school look better—they make it a better place to learn, grow, worship, and lead.
Looking Ahead
As we finish the final stage of construction, we are excited to open a new chapter in Trinity’s story—one that builds on the strong foundation laid by those who came before and boldly looks toward the future.
Together, we have reimagined what Trinity can be. And the best is yet to come.
