Do I or my student need to be Catholic to attend Trinity High School?

Trinity is an inclusive 9th-12th co-educational high school serving families of all faiths in Central Pennsylvania.

How many students attend Trinity High School?

The total enrollment for the 2018-2019 academic year is 510 students. The average class size is 18 students and the student-to-teacher ratio is 14:1.

What percentage of Trinity graduates attend college?

On average, 95% of Trinity graduates have pursued higher education. The Class of 2018 saw 98% with college plans upon graduation and $10.7 million in merit based aid.

How do I register my rising 9th Grade student for the next academic year?

Information and Registration Nights will take place at the school for parents/guardians to attend and learn more about what Trinity has to offer. You may register your student at one of these sessions, a “Drop In” Registration Night or by obtaining the registration materials online and submitting them to the school. Please note: the FACTS Tuition Management form has a unique bar code on it for each family and must be obtained by contacting the Director of Admissions, Devon Ban (dban@thsrocks.us).

Is there a registration fee?

Yes, a $150.00 tuition deposit is due at the time of registration.

How does my student select classes?

All incoming 9th Grade students take a Trinity High School Placement Exam. These exams are administered during school for our Partner School Students and on scheduled Saturday mornings throughout the spring. Any student who cannot attend a regularly scheduled exam must schedule an appointment with the Director of Admissions to take the exam. The exam covers three forty minute English, math, and science sections and a fifteen minute writing sample. Students are placed in appropriate courses by the results of this test. All 9th Grade Students are placed into academic level Theology I and World History. All other course selections (i.e. language, music, art, etc.) are submitted via a course selection sheet.

What is the tuition cost?

Tuition for the 2018-2019 academic year is $7,675.00 for one Catholic student and $9,375.00 for one non-Parishioner student. Additional rates are available for multiple students attending Trinity at the same time. These figures include tuition and all mandatory school fees (i.e. Activity Fee, Technology Fee, etc.).

How do I pay my tuition? Do you have a payment plan?

Trinity High School partners with FACTS Tuition Management. All families set up a FACTS account and tuition is remitted to FACTS. FACTS offers many different tuition payment plan options.

I already have a FACTS account at my current school. Does this account roll over?

Even if you are currently using FACTS at your student’s elementary school, you must create a new account at Trinity High School. Only those students who have older siblings who are current Trinity students do not need to submit a FACTS form.

Do you offer tuition assistance?

Yes. FACTS Tuition Management also offers a Grant and Aid application. All families interested in consideration for all forms of available aid must have the FACTS Grant and Aid application submitted to FACTS, with all required additional documentation, by April 1, 2018. Any family who submits their application late will be ineligible for certain forms of tuition assistance.

Is transportation available?

The following school districts provide transportation to Trinity High School: Central Dauphin, Cumberland Valley, East Pennsboro, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Northern York, South Middleton, Steelton-Highspire, Susquehanna Township, Susquenita, and West Shore. All other school districts do not provide transportation or do so on a case by case basis. You may contact your local school district or Trinity’s Transportation and Attendance Administrator for your district’s participation details. Trinity offers a private chartered bus for students in the Carlisle area at an additional cost.

What is the Trinity dress code?

Trinity High School students wear a Flynn & O’Hara school uniform. Uniforms may be purchased new through Flynn & O’Hara or families can receive gently used uniform pieces through our school Uniform Closet. The Uniform Closet is open on scheduled days during the summer or by appointment by contacting the Director of Admissions.

Do you have a lunch program?

Trinity High School partners with Metz Culinary Management to provide our students with delicious meals every day school is in session. Lunch is an additional cost and prices vary based on what your student selects for lunch.

What types of extracurricular activities are offered?

We feel that extracurricular activities are important in the holistic development of students. Trinity offers more than thirty clubs and activities, including performing and fine arts, honors societies, social clubs and service and religious based groups. Additionally, we field 20+ varsity sports teams.
