Trinity’s Indoor Percussion had smashing success at the band competition at Donegal High School, on Saturday, April 13. The band not only placed first in the competition, but they also succeeded in increasing their score by three points. The spirit of Queen was amongst the band as they performed a “Bohemian Rhapsody” inspired number.
Their success this past week allows them to prepare for their regional competition, the Atlantic Coast Championships, which will take place in Wildwood, NJ, in a few weeks. They will compete against seven other schools.
Kim Dudding ‘19 (De La Salle House) spoke with pride on the success of their performance, “I think for us we were way more in sync with each other and just understood the specifics of our individual parts and how to blend them with everyone else in the group!”
Indoor Percussion has had a successful season thus far. We wish them the best of luck as they finish their season!
