Athletic Director

Gary Bricker has been a member of the Trinity High School staff since 1993. Mr. Bricker has coached baseball, football and track and field and was assistant athletic director for 13 years prior to taking the lead as Athletic Director. Presently, he serves as President of the Mid Penn Conference and is chairperson of the sport of Cross Country for the conference.  In addition Mr. Bricker officiates PIAA and NCAA track and field competition.

Mr. LARRY KOSTELAC ‘76, P’01,’02, ’06

Director of Athletic Advancement

In addition to being one of the most successful basketball coaches in the area, Larry Kostelac also works to further the athletic programing of the school as the Director of Athletic Advancement. Larry has long been ingrained in the culture of Trinity: his father was Dean of Students for many years, he’s an alumnus himself, and his children attended the school. This in addition to running one of the most successful high school basketball programs for decades. Larry’s devotion to Trinity extends to all students and all sporting programs at the school.


Mr. Terrence Mull ‘02

Assistance Athletic Director

Terrence Mull has been around Trinity High School athletics most of his life. As a Trinity graduate himself (2002), and the sibling of four Trinity graduates, the Trinity tradition in his family is longstanding. While a Trinity student, Mr. Mull played five sports and received a varsity letter in four. After graduating from Slippery Rock in 2009, he joined the Trinity staff as a teacher, coach, and assistant athletic director. Currently, Mr. Mull teaches health and physical education and coaches girls soccer and baseball, in addition to his Assistant Athletic Director duties. He also officiates soccer at the collegiate and professional level.

Mr. Matt O’Brien

Athletic Trainer

Matt O’Brien has been the head Athletic Trainer at Trinity High School since August 2015, in addition to being employed by Select Medical Physical Therapy. Matt has been a NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer since 2004 and is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania as both a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Physical Therapy Assistant. His duties include providing quality athletic training service at home athletic events and away football games, coordinating rehabilitation for all student-athletes, and providing educational tools for injury prevention and awareness.
