Trinity High School is proud to graduate college-ready students. With 98% of each class matriculating to higher education, college preparedness is one of our priorities and strengths. We have nearly three-dozen college partnerships, which guarantee our students admission and merit-based aid.
Our Counseling Department organizes presentations for parents and students throughout the year: a college fair with more than 80 colleges, individual college visits, and financial aid information sessions. Our counselors offer insight into the college process, scholarship opportunities, and financial aid through these presentations, individual meetings, Naviance, and the School Counseling page on Rediker. Local scholarship opportunities are always available in the School Counseling Office.
Trinity takes the growth and wellness of the whole student seriously. Our counselors meet with students individually and in small groups, and they enter classes to help students with depression, grief, self-knowledge, college and career preparation, and more. Our specially trained school and community agency staff are also available to help students access school and community services. If a student is having trouble in or out of school, we can help. We accept nominations for students through our Student Assistance Program (SAP) referral form (here) and our social work referral form (here).
Several members of our Counseling Department come to us through the Capital Area Intermediate Unit (CAIU).
