Leadership

Trinity is helmed by an administrative team consisting of the Principal, Vice-Principal (Director of Academics), Dean of Students, and Director of Student Activities. Trinity is a diocesan school, and enjoys the support and guidance of the Diocese of Harrisburg. Trinity also benefits from an active Board of Directors, composed of local pastors and laypersons.

Mr. JOHN COMINSKY ’85, P’15

Mr. John Cominsky graduated from Trinity after first converting to Catholicism under the influence of Trinity’s Immaculate Heart of Mary Sisters. He graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University with a B.A. in Theology and Minors in History, Philosophy, English, and Communications. Later he earned his Masters in Theology from Gettysburg Lutheran Theological Seminary. Mr. Cominsky has spent his career in Catholic education. He taught history and religion for 17 years at Trinity, served as Principal at Saint Joseph School, Mechanicsburg, while also teaching theology courses to sophomores and juniors at Mount St. Mary’s. He returned to his Alma Mater, Trinity High School, in 2016 where he stays active in the classroom teaching AP World History.

Ms. EILEEN POPLASKI P’19

Ms. Eileen Poplaski is a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School.  She earned a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland in 1984 and spent five years working in government relations in Washington, DC before returning to Pennsylvania where she earned an M.A. in History as well as her Social Studies certification from Shippensburg University. She also holds a Pennsylvania Administrator’s certificate after completing additional graduate courses through Marywood University.  She taught for 13 years at Bishop McDevitt where she also served as Social Studies Department Chair before coming to Trinity as Vice Principal/Director of Academics in 2005.  In addition to serving on the Administrative team, Ms. Poplaski teaches AP US History.

Mr. RICHARD GAGLIANO

Mr. Richard Gagliano grew up outside of New York City and attended Clarion University where he earned his B.S. in Communications. He pursued a career in the Army and served as a Military Policeman in South Korea and Ft. Leavenworth, KS. Mr. Gagliano worked in Campus Law Enforcement at both Dickinson College and York College achieving the rank of Captain before joining the Trinity staff in 2013, as the Dean of Students.

Sr. SUSAN KUK

Sister Susan Marie Kuk is a member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary from Immaculata, PA, and has been so for over 50 years. She has 55 years of teaching and administration experience, including time spent as a principal in Miami, FL; Trenton, NJ, and Philadelphia, PA. In addition, Sister has conducted mission trips in Ecuador and Jamaica for over 14 years.  She has taught math for her entire career and has taught physics for 10 years. At Trinity, she directs the House system, teaches Trigonometry, and has a hand in many of the activities around school.

President

An alumnus and past, current, and future Trinity parent, Brian Jackson looks to the past and the future for Trinity High School. Brian is a member of the management committee at McNees Wallace and Nurick LLC. Brian has deep ties to this area as a Penn State and Dickinson School of Law alumnus, and his perspective and background are helpful in the big decisions the Board makes.

Treasurer

After decades of involvement with Trinity, including as an alumnus, parent, volunteer, and President of the Trinity Athletic Association, Joe Centurione now serves on the Board with an eye toward the needs and strengths of Trinity. His work for the state of Pennsylvania, including experience with project management, information technology, and strategic planning contributes to managing Trinity’s future.
