COLLEGE & SCHOOL
COUNSELING

Trinity High School is proud to graduate college-ready students. With 98% of each class matriculating to higher education, college preparedness is one of our priorities and strengths. The college search is a partnership: with our counselors as guides and resources, students take ownership of the college admissions process and embrace it as a journey of self-discovery. Learning to understand themselves, their goals, and their preferences is vital, not only to an appropriate college search, but also to a successful transition into the beginning stages of adulthood.

Trinity holds presentations for both parents and students throughout the year, detailing the college process, scholarship opportunities, and financial aid. We also sponsor a college fair each fall, which over 70 colleges attend, and host many college visits (link to college visit calendar) throughout the year on individual days. Trinity also provides scholarship information to students through a Naviance and our Guidance Office. Local scholarship opportunities are available in the Guidance Office, but families can also check with their parish or banks, which often offer scholarships.

Trinity takes the growth and wellness of the whole-person seriously. Our counselors meet with students individually, in small groups, and enter classes to help students with depression, grief, self-knowledge, and more.
